Masters in Applied Statistics and Data Science under Weekend Program (WP-MASDS)

A new Master Program offered by the Department of Statistics, Jahangirnagar University

 

Applications are invited from the prospective students desiring to take a one year Masters in Applied Statistics and Data Science (WP-MASDS) under Weekend Program which is offered by the Department of Statistics of Jahangirnagar University.

Course Duration : One year (3 Semesters)
Class Hours : Friday 9:00AM to 8:00PM
Admission Requirements:

Applicants must have a

• CGPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4 or 2nd class equivalent in any backgrounds
• A Bachelor Degree (4 or 3 years or, equivalent) in any discipline
• A Masters Degree is compulsory for BSc/BCom/BSS (Two year pass) (Pre-requisite courses are required).

Application Procedure:

Application can be done Online only.

A. Online Application Process:

Make a payment of Tk 1050/- as application processing fee from your/agent's Dutch Bangla Mobile Banking Account to PM-ASDS, JU biller code 2740. The process is as follows:

 

• Using your/agent's Dutch Bangla Mobile Banking Account, dial *322#
• From the menu appeared, select 1 for Bill Pay
• Input 1 (Self) If You are the Rocket account's owner.
  • Input 0 (Others) and follow step 5
• input 2 (Others) if it is an Agent
  • Enter your mobile number
  • Input 0 (Others) and follow step 5
• Biller ID :Enter 2740
• Bill Number: Enter your mobile no. again
• Amount: Enter 1050
• PIN: Enter your/agent's mobile banking PIN
• Collect Txnid (TRANSACTION ID) from the return SMS and fill your form Now

 

visit: http://statju.pm-asds.org or http://univadmin.info/wmstat/ and log in with your mobile no. and Txnid. Then fill up the application form. Done!
